Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Wesker LLC ("Wesker," "we," "us," or "our") is a software development collective. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, applications, and services we operate (collectively, the "Services"). By using any of our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information via OAuth
All of our Services use third-party OAuth providers (such as Google, GitHub, or Apple) for authentication. When you sign in, we receive limited profile information from the provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your password from any OAuth provider.
2.2 Payment information
Some of our Services accept payments through Stripe. When you make a purchase, your payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We receive from Stripe only the information necessary to manage your subscription or purchase — such as the last four digits of your card, expiration date, billing country, and transaction history.
2.3 Data you provide
When you use our Services, you may create content, upload files, or provide other information. We store this data to operate the Service you are using.
2.4 Automatically collected data
Our servers automatically record basic connection information when you access our Services — such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the date and time of your request. This data is used for security, debugging, and maintaining the reliability of our Services.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Process payments and send transaction confirmations
- Respond to your requests, questions, or customer support inquiries
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling purposes.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We use third-party services (such as Stripe for payments and OAuth providers for authentication) that process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to perform services for us.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety and rights: We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Wesker, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: If Wesker is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it.
6. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
7.1 General rights (all users)
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information and account.
- Export: Request a portable copy of your data in a commonly used format.
7.2 European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your personal information is:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide our Services to you.
- Legitimate interests: Processing for security, fraud prevention, and improving our Services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable law.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the CCPA.
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
8. International data transfers
Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
9. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the affected Service. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
